12 Days Of Christmas

 Today we made our own 12 days Christmas in slides. I worked in a cooperative group to make this slide. There were six of us so we got this done very quickly. 

The thing i really enjoyed creating our own 12 days of kiwi Christmas because we got to think of our own one and create something new.

The thing i found it hard to write down the right things because others kept on changing the ideas so we had to keep on rewriting different ideas down.   

Next time we work as a cooperative group we should try and say if we are going to change the idea so that we know to change or not.   

What Christmas Means To Me!

 For the last two weeks we have been writing a letter to the Gisborne Herald. The letter was about What Christmas means to you? After we had finished we had to publish it on to a slide or a digital object. I done mine on a google slide and done a animation.   

I enjoyed making my animation and writing what christmas means to me. Because to me Christmas means spending time with whanau and having fun with each other.

The most challenging part for me was that I didn't do it in time and how I was also getting distracted by my surroundings and other distractions. 

The most easiest thing that I got done was writing down my writing and making my animation.

Next time I will try to stay in my own bubble and not get distracted.            

  

My Digital Postcard

 Today for Manaiakalani We made another digital postcard. Today my digital postcard was me going to America like LA and Hollywood . We were learning about what is real and what is fake. 
The easiest thing for me was the place that I picked for my postcard . 
But the hardest thing would probably be finishing my blog post in time because I didn't get it finished in time. 
The thing that I would work on next time would be to work faster so I get my work done in time.               

 

My Digital PostCard

 Today in Manaiakalani we created a Digital Postcard. For my Digital Postcard I went to the mountains and it had one of the best view I have seen before in my life. I am sending this postcard to my friend Grace. I really had fun taking the photo because my friends were making me laugh. The hard thing was doing my work in time because the people around me were distracting me and I couldn't focus on my work. Next time we have Manaiakalani I am going to try focus on my work harder than getting distracted. Today we also learnt about people scamming in 2017 10 million dollars from people all over New Zealand. To that you are safe online and your not getting sacmed then you look at the top of the search bar you will either see a padlock or https.               

10 Ideas Of What A Good Recount

Today in Writing me and my buddy Ngaire wrote down ten ideas of what a good recount looks like you will see down below our ten ideas of what we think are important in a recount. My learning goal for Term 4  is to get better at my editing in writing . The part in recount writing that I need to improve on for the rest of Term 4 is Using rich words in my writing. I enjoyed this learning because it wasn't that hard to do today.

How to use scratch

 Today in our manaiakalani we were making a screencastify on how to teach someone how to do something on scratch.

I found it easy to get my screencastify right.

I found it hard to Get my work done in the time that was given because I was distracted.

Next time I will try work harder and get my work done in time that was given and focus.

My Favorite time's of the Day.

Yesterday in writing we were writing about what parts of the day are our favorites.

I found it easy to write my writing because i know what parts of the day are my favorites.

I found it challenging to think of the wright detailed words for my writing.    

Next time I will focus on my work and think harder for the wright words.

 

The Great Awapuni Fun Run

For the past week in our writing group we have been writing a recount on our Awapuni Fun Run.

I found it easy to write my recount about the fun run because we had just done the Fun Run the day before we rote it.

I found it challenging to write my recount because i was getting distracted at some points.

Next time I will sit in a different spot so i don't get distracted by anyone near me.

My Matariki Animation

We were learning about Matariki.

I found it easy to make my animation in google slides.

I found it challenging to find a picture of Tanemahuta for my google slides.

Next time I will work better on my google slides animation.

My Matariki Art & Research

We were learning about Matariki.

I found it easy to do my art work because I had done the same type of art last year.

I found it challenging to write the sentences in my own words for the research.

Next time I will try better at writing the sentences when I research.

My Avatar

We were learning about how to make an digital Avatar on google drawings using an element and an animal to send to our teacher to get help.

I found it easy to work with my buddy to make our Avatar.

I found it challenging to pick an animal to work with but when I sore fire I thought of a lion.

My Report

For the past few weeks we have been learning how to write a report. 

I found it easy to put my writing on to my slide. 

I found it challenging to write my report because

 I couldn't find the right questions for my Paragraphs.    

Next time I need to try work harder and make it better. 

Buddy Commenting

We were learning about how to write Positive Thoughtful and Helpful comments on our school buddy's blogs.

I found it easy to  write down my comment on my buddy's blog because it was interesting .

I found it hard to understand one of the lines that my buddy wrote because it didn't make sense to me.

We were learning about public or private. 

I found it easy to do most of my work. 

I found it hard to figure out what to right for my sentences.

Next time i will need to work harder.
