What Christmas Means To Me!

 For the last two weeks we have been writing a letter to the Gisborne Herald. The letter was about What Christmas means to you? After we had finished we had to publish it on to a slide or a digital object. I done mine on a google slide and done a animation.   

I enjoyed making my animation and writing what christmas means to me. Because to me Christmas means spending time with whanau and having fun with each other.

The most challenging part for me was that I didn't do it in time and how I was also getting distracted by my surroundings and other distractions. 

The most easiest thing that I got done was writing down my writing and making my animation.

Next time I will try to stay in my own bubble and not get distracted.

Today in Writing me and my buddy Ngaire wrote down ten ideas of what a good recount looks like you will see down below our ten ideas of what we think are important in a recount. My learning goal for Term 4  is to get better at my editing in writing . The part in recount writing that I need to improve on for the rest of Term 4 is Using rich words in my writing. I enjoyed this learning because it wasn't that hard to do today.

My Favorite time's of the Day.

Yesterday in writing we were writing about what parts of the day are our favorites.

I found it easy to write my writing because i know what parts of the day are my favorites.

I found it challenging to think of the wright detailed words for my writing.    

Next time I will focus on my work and think harder for the wright words.

 

The Great Awapuni Fun Run

For the past week in our writing group we have been writing a recount on our Awapuni Fun Run.

I found it easy to write my recount about the fun run because we had just done the Fun Run the day before we rote it.

I found it challenging to write my recount because i was getting distracted at some points.

Next time I will sit in a different spot so i don't get distracted by anyone near me.

My Report

For the past few weeks we have been learning how to write a report. 

I found it easy to put my writing on to my slide. 

I found it challenging to write my report because

 I couldn't find the right questions for my Paragraphs.    

Next time I need to try work harder and make it better. 

All Blacks Fans Designing furniture

We were learning about designing new furniture for class rooms and cooperating with our group members. I found it easy to create my drawers swings and writing down some bullet points of what it might be.I found it hard to work with my co operative group. I really enjoyed making my drawers.Next time I need to work together with my co operative group and make more things. 

Morris the mankiest monster.

   We were learning about Morris the Mankiest monster. I found it easy to to describe morris because he was so groose you should just know what to write.I found it hard to finish in time but I just got to finish a bit after the time limit. I really enjoyed making morris the mankiest monster with the polyline. Next time I need to work more faster so I can work faster and get done in the time limit we got given. and try not get  distracted.

My information report about the three waka Horouta, Takitimu, Te Ikaroa-a-rauru and the Endeavour

We were learning about Tui 250 witch is the three waka Horouta, Takitimu, Te Ikaroa-a-rauru and the Endeavour.

I found it easy to find out information for the three waka.

 I found it hard to write the information report.

I really enjoyed finding out information because I was learning more information about the waka.

Next time I need to work a bit more faster to get more information about the waka and finish the report

Poly fun

We were learning about how to use polyline to make a cartoon version of me.  

I found it easy to polyline my body and my hair. 

I found it hard to do my eyes and eyebrows as well as e nose. I found it hard to pick the colours for my face.

I really enjoyed doing everything in the slide  

Next time I need to work on  not getting distracted so I need to work a little bit faster 

Waka from long ago

We were learning about our place and about our waka.

I found it easy to finish some of it in time.

I found it hard to find out what to do for it.

I really enjoyed writing about it.

Next time I need to work on finishing all of it.

Diary Entry - July 6th 1718

Voyaging to Tairawhiti 

Years from long ago in the 1718 there was a waka about to travel away from hawaiki to Gisborne/Tairawhiti  on July the 6th  do you have all of the Vegetables and all the Meat yup what about the  Coconuts yes chef. It was time the trib had to go and say goodbye. goodbye goodbye as we all said we will see you again I hope. The trib hopped on to the boat goodbye. A few hours later the sea started to get rougher rougher  it feels like there is a storm coming towards us so quickly put the huts up so some of us can get some shorter hurry so they can hope in can I swap over from rowing me to please chef so we can have a sit down pull the sails chef said. Night and days went past colder and colder  it got threw the night and some of the were getting sea sick later on the 6th of August  the chef said I see land  sail sail were here we finally  made it i’m calling it Tairawhiti.     

My Re-Crafting

We were learning about re-crafting out writing.

I found it easy to re-craft the bottom writing.

I found it hard to finish in the time that we got given.

I really enjoyed doing everything.

Next time I need to finish quicker

Should children wear uniforms

Should children wear uniforms? Opening statement: I strongly agree that children should wear uniforms. In the first place: I think that if they wear mufti clothes then they might get bullied by someone like if a little kid wears a superman costume then some other kid might say you look ugly and the little kid might start to cry. My next point is that: Children should wear uniforms because it helps you by looking tidier not messy and dirty because you might slip up in something and it might stain your good clothes. Finally: I think that children should wear uniforms so that the public can recognize what school we are at like if one of the students gets hit by a car or something then they will know what school to contact. Closing statement: that is why think that children should wear uniforms and I hope I have convinced you.

About my volcano

About my volcano.

 Boom! Boom! Crash! As the  big large enormous volcano went it was starting to erupt into an enormous lava mess. Starting to spread all over the whole city. So then there will be nothing anywhere  and nowhere to sleep  and play around.

WATCH OUT! Everybody the lava is coming towards us. Run now go towards the water so the lava doesn't get us when you see a big gap that can fit the lava  in

Stand in the way.  when it is almost there then move to the side so it goes into the water.  When it is finished you can come back through the same way but if it  is still going find another spot to go through then we will all be nice and safe.

Calais opened the door for me in a flash I zoomed in like a rocket AHHH it is so warm in

dsssdr class I  went and sat by the hot heater

the bell was about to ring . ring ring it is time for morning tea

Am learning to be kind at the P.E shed

I am leaning to be a kind to the P.E shed.

I enjoyed my time playing with the equipment.

I found it challenging that i hate to stand in the line for a long time

My next step for my leaning  is to practices my manners at the P.E shed
